Managing Stress with Cardiac Coherence

Practising cardiac coherence has many benefits, in the short and long term, for physical, mental and emotional health. Calm down and focus thanks to simple breathing exercises practised 3 times a day. Try it!

What is cardiac coherence?

Cardiac coherence is a breathing technique that involves breathing at a rhythm of about 6 breaths per minute (5 seconds inhale, 5 seconds exhale) for 5 minutes. This practice regulates the nervous system and promotes a state of calm.

The benefits

Cardiac coherence helps:
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Improve concentration and focus
  • Regulate emotions
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Improve sleep

How to practise

Practise cardiac coherence 3 times a day, for 5 minutes each time. Sit comfortably, breathe in for 5 seconds, breathe out for 5 seconds, and repeat. You will quickly feel the benefits.
